§ 13-33 Holding of drills.

It shall be the duty of each Captain or designee to hold at least 20 fire drills each year for their respective fire company.

§ 13-34 Command at fires in absence of superior officers.

In the absence of a Fire Chief at a fire, the Captain in whose district the fire occurs shall have full power and control and command of all Fire Department apparatus and deployment of Fire Department personnel. At all fires the Captain shall wear a black helmet and standard Department-issued equipment.

§ 13-35 Duty to notify Water Department of fire hydrant used.

The Captain or officer in charge of an alarm or drill shall, upon return to the firehouse, notify the Borough Water Department of the location of the fire hydrants used.
