Sickness or death in the family of a member, personal sickness,
absence from the Borough or indispensable business shall be deemed
sufficient excuse for any neglect of duty, and no other cause shall
be accepted. It shall be the duty of a member so absent to state the
nature of the sickness, whether of such member or of a member of the
family, or the nature of such indispensable business.
Each company shall hold not less than nine firematic meetings
each year. The Fire Chief, with the concurrence of the Fire Board,
may require a company to hold a special firematic meeting, if required.
No person shall drive any vehicle over any hose or other apparatus,
nor interfere with any members of the Fire Department or any Borough
official in the performance of his/her duty at a fire, or while in
charge of any apparatus, nor shall any person raise, create or continue
false alarm of fire.
Any person violating any of the provisions of §
13-70 shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty as stated in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
III, General Penalty Provisions, of this Code, or other state codes.
