§ 166-1 Permit required.

No building or structure shall be demolished without first obtaining a permit therefor to be issued by the Building Subcode Official upon the following terms and conditions:

A. No permit issued unless sealing of sewer connections has been approved and inspected by the Sewer Inspector.

B. A properly timed elimination of rodents and pests by a qualified exterminator under the guidance of the Department of Health.

C. A properly timed shutoff of electric and gas utilities.

D. A definite time for completion of the work.

E. A completion bond in an adequate sum to be filed with the Building Department to insure proper leveling and grading of the premises.

§ 166-2 Fee.

The permit for demolition of a building or structure shall be $10 for each $1,000 of assessed valuation of such building or structure.
