No owner or other person harboring or having
control of or management of any horses, cattle, goats and other domestic
animals shall permit such horses, cattle, goats and other domestic
animals to run at large within the limits of said Township of Holland.
It is intended that the running at large of dogs be regulated by other
Code provisions of this Township.
All such horses, cattle, goats and other domestic
animals shall be securely confined upon the property of the owners
or other persons harboring or having control of or management of any
horses, cattle, goats and other domestic animals. In the event that
said horses, cattle, goats other domestic animals shall be allowed
to occupy or pasture in open fields, a fence of sufficient height
and strength must be maintained by the owner or other person harboring
or having control of or management of any horses, cattle, goats and
other domestic animals to confine said horses, cattle, goats and other
domestic animals within said open fields. Said fence shall be kept
constantly in a good state of repair so that said horses, cattle,
goats other domestic animals cannot escape from said open fields.
All buildings or structures in which said horses,
cattle, goats and other domestic animals shall be kept or housed shall
be maintained in such a manner as not to become a nuisance or obnoxious,
detrimental or injurious to the health or welfare of the property
owners or to the citizens of said Township of Holland. Such buildings
shall at all times be kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the provisions
of this article shall not apply to dogs or cats. However, it is intended
that the running at large of dogs be regulated by other Code provisions
of this Township.
