A.
This chapter shall be construed in consonance with the ordinance of this Township's Board of Health regarding a farmers' market.[1] This chapter is adopted essentially in order to provide for a committee, known as the Farmers' Market Committee, which will oversee, supervise, and provide rules for the operation of the farmers' market, and to provide for a Farmers' Market manager.
B.
A Farmers' Market is an essentially outdoor food establishment, located on Township-owned lands, for the selling of produce grown by persons selling it, the selling of produce derivatives (licensed and permitted where applicable) which the sellers have created, the selling of baked goods by the creators thereof (originating from state-inspected and -licensed facilities), and the selling, under reasonable regulations of the Farmers' Market Committee, of artisan crafts.
