As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
TRAILER
Any vehicle or structure which is or may be mounted on wheels, having
no motive power of its own, and capable for use as a conveyance upon streets
or highways.
Emergency or temporary parking or stopping of a trailer or trailed boat
is permitted on any street or highway within the Township for not longer than
one hour, subject, however, to any other and further prohibitions or limitations
imposed by the traffic and parking regulations for that street or highway.
Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, a trailer may be temporarily
parked or stored in the open in connection with:
A. A public health program sponsored by the Division of
Health of the Township or other public health agency;
B. A program sponsored by any public board or agency of
the Township or its Board of Education;
C. A public or private construction project; or
D. A carnival or other affair or function authorized by
the Council.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided herein, any person who
violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be
punished by a fine not exceeding $500, or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding
90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day
during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
