The department shall consist of one Department Chief. Each company
shall consist of one Assistant Chief and one Captain. There will be
one Lieutenant for each piece of apparatus, one foreman for each transport
vehicle, when deemed necessary by the Assistant Chief, and one Cascade
Officer for each department.

A.
Nominations
for Department Line Officers will be held during the regularly scheduled
October departmental meeting. The nominations will remain open until
the November meeting.
B.
Nominations
and election for Department Line Officers shall be held at the regularly
scheduled and announced departmental meeting in November.
C.
In order
to be nominated and elected for a company Line Officer position, a
person must be a member of that particular company and maintain 20%
attendance of fire calls and drills. The percentages are calculated
on physical attendance.
D.
All Department Line Officers must be a resident of the Township of
Lopatcong.

The Chief and Assistant Chief from each company
shall hold their offices, respectively, for one year from January
1 next ensuing said elections, and said officers may be eligible for
reelection.[1]
