This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the “Village of New Haven Curfew Ordinance.”
This chapter is enacted for the purpose of regulating
the hours in which minor children under the age of 18 years may appear
on the public streets or in any other public place in the Village
of New Haven.
Any person over the age of 17 years assisting, aiding, abetting, allowing, permitting or encouraging any minor under the age of 18 years to violate §
209-3 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

In addition to other penalties, any person found guilty of violating this chapter shall be punished as set forth in Chapter
59, Municipal Civil Infractions, of the Code of the Village of New Haven.
