Pursuant to § 10, Subdivision 4, of the Municipal Home Rule Law and notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Geneseo and the Zoning Enforcement Officer of said Town are hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets, as defined by § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law, directing specified persons to appear in the Town Court.

Said Town's Code Enforcement Officer and Zoning Enforcement Officer may issue and serve appearance tickets with respect to the enforcement of the following laws and regulations: all state statutes, local laws, ordinances and codes, including the Fire and Building Code,[1] and other rules and regulations relating to off-street parking, plumbing, building, zoning and planning, fire prevention and safety, health and sanitation.

The foregoing authorizations are in addition to any and all authorizations heretofore or hereafter given. Any inconsistencies shall be construed in favor of liberal and additional authorization to issue appearance tickets.
