This article shall be known as the "Appletree Point Road Parking Ordinance."
This article is enacted pursuant to Town Law § 130, Subdivision
7.
No operator or owner of a vehicle of any description whatsoever
shall allow it to be parked or allow it to stand on Appletree Point Road from
Eberly Road to Carpenter Point excepting the designated parking areas posted
by the Town Board. Said permitted parking will be from 6:00 a.m. E.S.D.T.
to 8:00 p.m. E.S.D.T. from May 1 through November 1 of each year.
Any person or persons violating this article shall be punishable by
a fine not to exceed $50 for the first offense and a fine not to exceed $100
for each and every subsequent offense. Each occurrence shall be a separate
offense. Any law enforcement officer, Niles Town Highway Superintendent or
Fire Chief may have any vehicle in violation of this section towed at the
owner's expense.
