The Mayor and Town Council shall have the right to manage the Glade Town Park, and from time to time, by resolution, amend the rules and regulations adopted herein.
A. 
No motorized vehicles of any kind are permitted outside of the designated parking areas at any time. All state laws regarding the operation of motor vehicles shall pertain within the park.
B. 
The normal operating hours of the Glade Town Park shall be from sunrise to sunset.
C. 
The use of tobacco products, including smoking, and the use of alcohol as well as the use of any controlled dangerous substance is prohibited within the park.
D. 
The use of threatening or vulgar language is prohibited.
E. 
All trash and/or refuse must be placed in designated trash containers. Littering is prohibited.
F. 
Hunting of any kind is prohibited in the park.
G. 
Fishing is permitted, but is limited to children 12 years of age and under with adult supervision.
H. 
Ice skating in the park is permitted, but only during posted hours.
I. 
Sled riding is permitted in the park, but in designated areas only.
J. 
Leagues and tournaments, or other such organized sporting teams or clubs, may reserve first use of basketball and volleyball facilities by application made at the Oakland City Hall.
K. 
When utilizing the walking path, walkers and runners have the right-of-way.
L. 
Mixed use of the path, including walking, jogging, skating, biking, etc., is permitted during normal park hours except as noted below. Persons under 21 years of age, however, are prohibited from using skateboards, in-line skates, scooters, bicycles, and other such wheeled vehicles, on the path, unless accompanied by an adult, except as provided in Subsection M below. During times of mixed use, anyone riding skates, in-line skates, scooters, bicycles, etc., must observe the rights of walkers and runners as provided in Subsection K hereof.
M. 
The walking path is reserved for skateboards, in-line skates, scooters, bicycles, etc., between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
N. 
Skateboards, in-line skates, scooters and bicycles, and other such wheeled vehicles are not permitted to be used in any other part of the park except on the path as provided herein at any time.
O. 
Pets are prohibited in the park.
P. 
Anyone observing a violation on, or destruction of, park property may report said violation to the Oakland City Police Department.
Q. 
The Town of Oakland hereby disclaims any responsibility for accidents and/or injuries of persons using the park, and declares that all persons so using the park do so at their own risk.
R. 
The pavilion at Glades shall be used only after paying the required fees as established by resolution and obtaining prior approval.

The Glade Town Park shall be under the management of the Mayor and Town Council of Oakland, and/or their designees.
A. 
Anyone violating any of the terms of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The penalty for violation of this article shall be $25 for the first offense and $50 for each subsequent offense.
B. 
At the election of the Mayor and Town Council, and/or their designee appointed to manage the park and administer this article, and/or any designated officer of the Oakland City Police Department, may, in lieu of the imposition of a fine, bar persons violating this article from the use of the Glade Town Park for a period of 30 days for a first offense, 90 days for a second offense, and indefinitely for a third offense.
