This article is adopted pursuant to § 4-412
of the Village Law of the State of New York and Article 7 of the Agriculture
and Markets Law of the State of New York, for the promotion of the
public welfare and general welfare of the community, including the
protection and preservation of the property of the Village and all
its inhabitants and of peace and good order in the controlling and
regulating of muzzled and unmuzzled dogs and cats in the Village of
Millbrook, and to provide for the enforcement thereof.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall be guilty of a violation for which no penalty is specifically provided herein but shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
