Pursuant to the provisions of § 130, Subdivision 17, of the Town Law of the State of New York, the Town of Hague, to ensure the safety of the property owners and residents of VanBuren Bay, hereby regulates the speed of mechanically propelled boats to five miles per hour in these waters within and bounding said Town in VanBuren Bay, said area being designated as follows: that area 300 feet from the shore of Lake George starting at the northernmost point of the McCormick property in Silver Bay, shown on the Town of Hague Tax Maps as Section 48, Block 1, Lot 19, and maintaining the three-hundred-foot distance following the shoreline to the southernmost point of the Hinck property and shown on the Town of Hague Tax Maps as Section 50, Block 1, Lot 4.1. This area will be marked by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation approved buoys.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a violation, and any conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment in the Warren County Jail for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
