Pursuant to the provisions of § 130, Subdivision 17, of the Town Law of the State of New York, the Town of Hague, to ensure the safety of the property owners and the residents of Dark Bay, hereby regulates the speed of mechanically propelled watercraft not to exceed five miles per hour on these waters within and bounding said Town in Dark Bay, said area being designated as follows: that area 500 feet from the easterly shore of Lake George starting at the northernmost point of Dark Bay at the northern boundary of the Willis Irving Thomson property, identified in the Town of Putnam tax records as Section 12, Block 4, Lot 2, maintaining the designated five-hundred-foot distance and following the shoreline south, encompassing all of the area of Dark Bay, thence following the westerly shore of Dark Bay north, around the northerly point of land between Dark Bay and the body of Lake George and ending at the southerly boundary of the Anne Eaton property, identified in the Putnam tax records as Section 12, Block 4, Lot 39. This area shall be marked by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation buoys.

Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a violation, and any conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment in the Warren County Jail for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
