It shall not be lawful for any person or corporation
to dig, remove, carry away or cause to be dug, removed or carried
away any stone, earth, sand or gravel from any public street, highway,
sidewalk or public place in the Village of Valley Stream, without
a written permit from the Board of Trustees.

Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty or
fine of not more than $1,000 and/or 15 days in jail for each offense.
Any violation of this article or any part thereof shall constitute
disorderly conduct, and the person violating any of the provisions
of this article shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
