A. 
No person or persons, firm, association or corporation shall exhibit for money any moving-picture or motion-picture show, exhibition or performance in the Village of Valley Stream, except any local municipal, religious, charitable or fraternal organization, without having first obtained a license therefor.
B. 
The Village Clerk is hereby empowered to issue such license to the person or persons, firm, association or corporation applying therefor in the form and manner provided by law, and to specify therein in the name of the Village an annual license fee, as established by resolution of the Board of Trustees at an open meeting, payable in advance, for each and every place wherein such show, exhibition or performance shall take place. Every such license shall have endorsed thereon the receipt of the Village Clerk, showing the payment of such fee.

Any license heretofore granted by the Village of Valley Stream, under which any moving-picture show, exhibition or performance is now given, shall cease and terminate at the expiration of the yearly period for which the last license fee has been paid by such licensee.

Any person or persons, firm, association or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article or any part thereof shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty or fine of not less than $250 nor more than $500. Any violation of this article or any part thereof shall constitute disorderly conduct, and any person violating the same shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
