Editor's Note: The title of Article III was changed from "Through Streets" to "Through Streets, Stop Intersections and Yield Intersections" 7-5-1966 by Ord. No. 464.
The streets, roads, highways and avenues set forth in Schedule I, attached, are designated as through streets. Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street, except where yield-right-of-way signs are provided for in the designations.

With prior approval of the Commissioner of Transportation, on one-way streets such signs shall be placed on both near sides of the intersecting street or entrance.

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-140, the intersections described in Schedule V, attached to and made a part of this ordinance, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
