This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the "The Site Plan Review Ordinance of the Borough of River Edge,
New Jersey." This chapter was readopted December 22, 1986 by Ord.
No. 922, pursuant to the Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1
et seq.
The purpose of this chapter shall be to establish
the mandatory requirements that shall be met prior to site plan approval
and those standards to be utilized in the site plan review process.
This chapter shall be applicable to the development of all lands within
the Borough of River Edge, in order to promote the public health,
safety and the general welfare of the Borough. It shall be administered
to ensure the orderly growth and development, conservation, protection
and proper use of land within the Borough and to provide adequate
provisions and standards for circulation, utilities and services.
