Fees for copying records shall be as follows:
A. 
For letter-sized pages and smaller: $0.05 per page.
B. 
For legal-sized pages and larger: $0.07 per page.
C. 
Electronic records (i.e., records sent via e-mail and fax): free of charge.
D. 
Records in another medium (i.e., computer disc, CD-ROM, DVD): the actual cost to provide the record.

A. 
All requests for discovery in matters pending in the Municipal Court shall be submitted through the Municipal Prosecutor; Superior Court and other agencies through the Washington Township Police Department.
B. 
The following fees shall be payable by the requester to the Township of Washington for the discovery provided:
(1) 
For letter-sized pages and smaller: $0.05 per page.
(2) 
For legal-sized pages and larger: $0.07 per page.
(3) 
Electronic records (i.e., records sent via e-mail and fax): free of charge.
(4) 
Records in another medium (i.e., computer disc, CD-ROM, DVD): the actual cost to provide the record.
(5) 
Actual postage for any discovery sent by mail.
(6) 
Twenty-five cents for the envelope for any discovery sent by mail.
(7) 
Photographs will be photocopied at the rates established herein. If request is made for duplicate photographs, the actual cost of making the photographs shall be charged.
(8) 
Duplication of videotapes constitute an extraordinary duplication process and will be charged at the rate of $25 per videotape.
(9) 
On any item that cannot be photocopied on the Township copy machine or not otherwise provided for in this schedule, the actual cost incurred in making the copy shall be charged.
C. 
Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the Township of Washington, Warren County, e.g., another police department, the actual costs paid to the other entity shall be paid by the requestor.

Fees shall be as follows:
A. 
For supplying a certification letter or other writing as to whether a property requires a certificate of occupancy or a certificate of continued occupancy: $2 for each certificate.
B. 
For obtaining public records from the Township of Washington archives: $5 per hour or any fractional part thereof for the time expended by Township employees/officials necessary to locate such records. All charges for copying such records will be in excess of this cost and shall be set forth in the Township Code.[1]

C. 
For furnishing a certified copy of any birth, death and/or marriage certificate(s): $8 for each certificate.

D. 
For preparing and furnishing a duplicate tax bill: $2 per duplicate, unless said duplicate is picked up at the Township Municipal Building, where the cost will then be $1 per duplicate.
E. 
For any payor whose check to the Township of Washington has been returned unpaid, whether by stop payment, insufficient funds, uncollected funds or for any other reason: $10 per check returned or the cost to the Township for the return of the check unpaid, whichever is greater.
F. 
For preparing and furnishing a duplicate tax sale certificate: $100 per duplicate certificate.[2]
