The City Council hereby adopts as the gambling regulations within the City the Prince George's County Gambling Code, Subtitle 14, Morals and Conduct, Division 2, Gambling, §§ 14-107 through 14-117, inclusive, of the Prince George's County Code, as amended from time to time.
Violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a municipal infraction and shall be punishable as provided in § 1-20B of this Code.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any individual to engage in games of chance, gambling or vending of obscene materials within the City of Glenarden, Maryland.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any entity, organization, association, or group to promote or to offer games of chance, gambling, or obscene materials for the purpose of financial gain to any individual within the City of Glenarden, Maryland.
C. 
It shall be unlawful for games of chance, gambling, or vending of obscene materials to be held on any premises open to the public within the City of Glenarden, Maryland.
Any individual, person, entity or organization that violates § 86-3A, B or C as indicated above, of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, subject to a fine not to exceed $1,000, or any such individual, person may be imprisoned for a period not to exceed 180 days, or both.

Carnivals, fairs, bingo parties, raffles and state-run lotteries are exempt from provision. Nothing in this article shall preclude carnivals, fairs, bingo parties, raffles or state-run lotteries.
