The CPU Zone is intended to provide protection from preemptive uses of land meant for public use or preservation. This land is typically either publicly owned, intended to be publicly owned according to the Comprehensive Plan, or not suitable for other types of development.

Land set aside for protection of environmental resources.
B. 
Public facilities and services.
C. 
Civic uses.
D. 
Land designated as open space.
E. 
Any other use that the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission deem appropriate.
Density shall be determined by the Planning Commission on a case-by-case basis.
A. 
Buildings must conform to the Design Standards adopted in the Development Regulations.
B. 
Setbacks and other site design criteria shall be established by the Planning Commission on a case-by-case basis.
All off-street parking places shall be to the rear of any building, unless otherwise determined by the Planning Commission.
