No person shall post, nail or attach any poster, placard, advertising sign or notice to any sidewalk or curb, nor to any walls, fences, posts, buildings or other property of the City of Gloversville, nor any tree, telephone pole, electric-light pole, street or car pole, telegraph or other pole located in the streets within the City of Gloversville, without the consent of the Common Council.[1]

Any person violating any provision of this chapter may be punishable by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or imprisonment for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or both.
