The County of Monroe be and it is hereby authorized to conduct pari-mutuel
off-track betting and to become a participating municipality thereof in accordance
with the provisions of the New York Off-Track Pari-Mutuel Betting Law.
The County of Monroe herewith applies to the New York State Off-Track
Pari-Mutuel Betting Commission for its approval as such participating municipality.
The County of Monroe, in accordance with this chapter, be and it hereby
is authorized to formulate such rules, regulations, plans and/or arrangements
for the conduct of such pari-mutuel off-track betting as may be required by
applicable provisions of the laws of the State of New York, either singly
or in conjunction with other municipalities similarly authorized by law.
