§ 185-1
Inclusion in program. 

§ 185-2
Determination of length of service. 

Elected officials shall be included in the retirement program of the Town of Haddam upon the same terms and conditions as employees, effective July 1, 1990.

For purposes of this article, elected officials shall be credited with the periods of prior service either as elected officials or employees of the Town of Haddam.

Authorization to enter into contracts to establish program. 

§ 185-5
Appropriation. 

A program of retirement benefits shall be established for active members of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Department pursuant to C.G.S. § 7-148.

The Selectmen shall be authorized to enter into contracts necessary to administer and fund said program.

A sum of money shall be appropriated, not to exceed $54,000, in order to initially establish said program.
