The Borough of Emsworth shall appoint an independent
auditor to audit the accounts of the Borough of Emsworth.
The independent auditor appointed by the Council
of the Borough of Emsworth should be a certified public accountant
or a firm of certified public accountants registered in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania.
The Council of the Borough of Emsworth shall
appoint an independent auditor annually by resolution before the close
of a fiscal year.
The independent auditor appointed by the Council
of the Borough of Emsworth may be requested to perform other duties
and execute other powers as so decided by the Council of the Borough
of Emsworth.
