No person or persons shall at any place, whether
a public or private place, within the City of North Tonawanda, New
York, annoy, disturb or interfere with any other person or persons
by any offensive, lewd, indecent, vile or disorderly language, act
or acts.
No person or persons, with intent to provoke
a breach of the peace or whereby a breach of the peace may be occasioned,
shall within the City of North Tonawanda, New York, commit any lewd,
indecent or immoral act nor. during the nighttime, by shouting or
making a loud noise, annoy or disturb any other person or persons.
No person shall, within the City of North Tonawanda,
New York, commit or offer to commit prostitution, or offer or secure
another for the purpose of prostitution or for any lewd or indecent
act, and no person shall within such city loiter in or near any public
or private place or thoroughfare for the purpose of enticing or procuring
another to commit any lewd, indecent or immoral act.
No person shall, within the City of North Tonawanda,
New York, reside in, work in, loiter in or frequent any house of ill
fame or assignation or place for the encouragement or practice by
persons of lewdness, fornication, unlawful sexual intercourse or for
any other indecent, immoral or disorderly act or conduct; and no person
shall, within the City of North Tonawanda, New York, take another
person into, or receive or offer or agree to receive any person into,
or entice or induce any person to enter into any place, building,
house, structure or conveyance for the purpose of prostitution, lewdness
or fornication or for any indecent or immoral act or acts.
No person shall, within the City of North Tonawanda,
New York, wander abroad and beg or place himself in any of the streets,
highways or other public places to beg; and no person shall within
such city wander abroad and lodge or sleep in any outhouse, station
house, marketplace, shed, barn, stable or uninhabited building or
in the open air.
No person shall suffer, allow or permit his
wife or any minor child or children of himself to be or become, at
the City of North Tonawanda, New York, a burden upon or in danger
of becoming a burden upon the public by reason of being without adequate
support or in destitute circumstances, without justification or legal
excuse for so doing.
No person shall be intoxicated in any public
or private place within the City of North Tonawanda, New York, to
the annoyance of any other person or persons.
No person shall, at the City of North Tonawanda,
New York, engage in any gambling game where money or property is dependent
upon the result, or gamble in any public place or in any place of
business or in any building wherein or at any premises whereon any
place of business at the time of so doing is located.

No person shall within the City of North Tonawanda
willfully and unlawfully break, bore, destroy or make any letter,
picture, mark or character upon or deface any building, walk, fence,
tree, shrub, vegetation or other property of another or others which
is then within the City of North Tonawanda.

No person shall deposit or leave on any real
property within the City of North Tonawanda any dirt, ashes, refuse
or any filthy or obnoxious substance or material; and no person shall
maliciously trespass upon any real property which is located in the
city of North Tonawanda.

No person shall within the City of North Tonawanda
willfully and for the purpose of disturbance or mischief create or
give any false alarm of fire, nor injure, tamper with or unlawfully
use any fire alarm box or other part of the fire alarm system of the
City of North Tonawanda.

No person shall deposit rubbish or other refuse
in any park or other public place of the City of North Tonawanda except
in the lawful receptacles provided therefor; nor shall any person
remove, bore, girdle or dig up any tree, shrub or other property of
such park or other public place. No person shall kindle or maintain
any fire in any such park or public place in the City of North Tonawanda,
except in properly designated areas therefor, without the written
permit of the lawful authority having charge of said park or parks,
or of such public place.
A violation of any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of not exceeding
$50, or by imprisonment for not more than six months or by both such
fine and imprisonment, and the Clerk shall be directed to publish
this ordinance according to law.

No person shall attach, paint, print, place,
put, affix or fasten to any bridge, lamppost, telegraph, telephone
or other poles, hydrant, hydrant cover, tree, tree stump, fence, mileboard,
milestone, danger signal, guide sign, billboard, building or other
structure or object within the limits of a public highway or on any
public property any bills, notice, picture, paper or character of
any kind whatsoever to advertise any business or commercial enterprise
or any show, performance or entertainment or political party, political
campaign or candidacy. Violation of this section shall be an offense
and is punishable by a fine of not less than $5 or more than $25,
or by imprisonment for not more than 10 days or by both such fine
and imprisonment. Any advertisement in or upon a public highway or
public place in violation of the provisions of this section may be
taken down, removed or destroyed by anyone.
No person shall distribute anywhere within the
City of North Tonawanda any bills, notices, dodgers, circulars or
printed matter in any form which tend to disturb the public peace
or morals, or which advise, advocate or urge the overthrow of the
government of the United States or any state thereof or of any municipal
corporation therein by the use of violence, force or other unlawful
methods or which advise, advocate or urge the commission of any crime
or any violation of law, and no person shall within such city advise,
advocate or urge the overthrow of the government of the United States
or any state thereof or of any municipal corporation therein by the
use of violence, force or other unlawful methods or advise, advocate
or urge the commission of any crime or any violation of law.
No person shall participate in any parade, demonstration,
public gathering or assemblage within the city formed or called for
the purpose of inciting, advising or urging the use of unlawful violence
or force or the commission of any act in violation of law or at which
any of such acts or things are advocated, advised, urged or committed.
Nor shall any person exhibit or display within the city any flag,
banner or device which is emblematic of any movement, plan or project
tending to disturb the public peace and quiet, or cause the overthrow
of government by violence, force or other unlawful method.
No person shall participate in any parade, gathering,
assemblage or demonstration upon any street, square or park within
the City of North Tonawanda, which parade, gathering, assemblage or
demonstration has not been authorized by a written permit from the
Mayor of such city.
No owner, tenant, agent or person in charge
of any place, building or room shall knowingly permit therein any
assemblage of persons or the doing of any act prohibited by any of
the provisions of any of the sections of this ordinance.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and be punishable
by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than
one year or by such fine and imprisonment.
