Editor's Note: Speed limits on certain state highways within the corporate limits of the City of North Tonawanda have been established by orders of the New York State Traffic Commission, and signs designating these limits have been posted on such highways.

No person shall operate any motor vehicle or motorcycle on any of the public highways in the City of North Tonawanda, New York, in excess of the posted speed limit on said public highway.

Any person violating this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding $200 or imprisonment for not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
The ordinance of the City of North Tonawanda, New York, regulating the speed of vehicles and motorcycles upon the public highways in the City of North Tonawanda, New York, enacted and adopted by the Common Council of such City on May 4, 1931, is hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
