A. Subsection 1 of § 20-2006 of the Village
Law as last amended by Chapters 1028 and 1029, Laws of 1974, is hereby amended in its application to the Village of
Lloyd Harbor, New York, to read as follows:
§ 20-2006 Violation
of ordinances and local laws

(1) Unless otherwise provided by statute, the Board of
Trustees may enforce obedience to its ordinances and to its local
laws as follows:
(a)
By prescribing therefor civil fines for each
violation thereof not to exceed $250. Each day a violation is continued
after the violator is provided written notice of the violation from
the Village or enforcement officer shall constitute a separate violation;
(b)
By prescribing therefor that each violation
thereof shall constitute a separate violation pursuant to the Penal
Law. However, in no case shall the fine imposed exceed $250 and imprisonment
for a term of not more than 15 days, or both, for each separate violation;
and each day a violation is continued after the violator is provided
written notice of the violation from the Village or enforcement officer
shall constitute a separate violation;
(c)
In all cases the Board of Trustees may enforce
obedience to its ordinances and local laws by injunction.
