A. 
Subsection 1 of § 20-2006 of the Village Law as last amended by Chapters 1028 and 1029, Laws of 1974,[1] is hereby amended in its application to the Village of Lloyd Harbor, New York, to read as follows:
§ 20-2006  Violation of ordinances and local laws
(1) 
Unless otherwise provided by statute, the Board of Trustees may enforce obedience to its ordinances and to its local laws as follows:
(a) 
By prescribing therefor civil fines for each violation thereof not to exceed $250. Each day a violation is continued after the violator is provided written notice of the violation from the Village or enforcement officer shall constitute a separate violation;
(b) 
By prescribing therefor that each violation thereof shall constitute a separate violation pursuant to the Penal Law. However, in no case shall the fine imposed exceed $250 and imprisonment for a term of not more than 15 days, or both, for each separate violation; and each day a violation is continued after the violator is provided written notice of the violation from the Village or enforcement officer shall constitute a separate violation;
(c) 
In all cases the Board of Trustees may enforce obedience to its ordinances and local laws by injunction.[2]
