The Town Board of the Town of Sand Lake does hereby create a Planning
Board for said Town of Sand Lake.
Such a Board will consist of seven members appointed for terms of one-year,
two-year, three-year, four-year, five-year, six-year and seven-year terms,
after which each appointment or reappointment to fill an expired term will
be for a seven-year period.

A.
Pursuant to Article 16, § 276 of the Town Law,
the Planning Board is hereby authorized and empowered to approve plats showing
lots, blocks or sites, with or without streets or highways, within that part
of the town outside the limits of any incorporated city or village. The Planning
Board may pass and approve the development of plats already filed in the office
of the Clerk of the County if such plats are entirely or partially undeveloped.
B.
The Planning Board is authorized and empowered to approve
or disapprove:
(1)
Changes in the lines of existing streets, highways or
public areas shown on subdivision plats or maps filed in the office of the
Clerk of the County.
(2)
The laying out, closing off or abandonment of streets,
highways or public areas under the provisions of the Town Law and the Highway
Law within that part of the town outside the limits of any incorporated city
or village.
