[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Sand Lake 6-13-1979 by L.L. No. 1-1979. Amendments noted where applicable.]
This local law shall be known as "L.L. No. 1-1979," establishing the location and hours of operation of the elected Town Clerk of the Town of Sand Lake.
A. 
There is a public building owned by the Town of Sand Lake, known and used as a town hall.
B. 
There is office space established therein for use by the elected Town Clerk for such business as the Town Clerk is called upon to perform in the course of his or her elected and appointed duties, which said building is located at Sand Lake, New York.
Henceforth, effective upon the first day of January 1980, the principal location of the Town Clerk's office is hereby established to be at said town hall at the offices established therein for the Town Clerk, and the minimum hours of operation during which said office will be staffed will be 35 hours per week. The daily hours of operation of said office shall be established by the Town Clerk and will be established with the convenience of the public to be served as the basis for said operation. Said office will be closed on all legal holidays and Sundays.

Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit or prevent the Town Clerk from maintaining any additional satellite offices that he or she feels the convenience of the public requires.
