It shall be lawful and the Police Department of the Borough of Prospect Park is hereby authorized to use in the Borough of Prospect Park any and all electrical and/or mechanical speed-timing devices which are now or shall hereafter be approved by the Department of Transportation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including but not limited to the Excessive Speed Preventer (ESP) Model TK100, as a traffic control device.
Signs, either temporary or permanent, shall be posted on any highway in the Borough of Prospect Park upon which such electrical and/or mechanical speed-timing device is being used. Such signs shall give notice of the enforcement of speed restrictions by the use of such devices and shall refer to this chapter as authorizing such devices.
