The purposes of the Special Use District is
to provide for an appropriate mix of commercial, light manufacturing
and limited residential land uses in areas where public utilities
have the potential to be extended and a variety of land uses have
been established in close proximity to a previously settled area.
A building may be used, erected, or altered and a lot or premises may be used for any of the following purposes, subject to off-street parking regulations as set forth in Article
XV.
Uses by special exception:
C. Nonresidential storage buildings. See §
172-146.
No structure or combination of structures, including
sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, shall be permitted to exceed
65% of the gross lot area.
Bufferyards shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of Article
XII, §
172-122.
All uses under this article shall be subject to the off-street parking and loading and unloading regulations of Article
XV.
A zoning/building permit shall be required prior
to the erection, construction or alteration of any structure proposed
in relation to those uses enumerated in this article.
