[Adopted 12-8-2005 by Ord. No. 2005-15]
[Amended 9-9-2010 by Ord. No. 2010-7]
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.12 and 4:19-15.3, the Borough adopts the following fee schedule for licensing and procuring registration tags for domestic dogs in the Borough:
A.
Annual fee for a dog license: total fee is $8.20. By paying this fee, the applicant will also receive a registration tag that will be valid for a year. This fee covers the license fee ($7), the pilot clinic fee ($0.20) and registration fee ($1). This fee applies for the entire calendar year, January 1 to December 31 and cannot be prorated. An additional one-dollar late charge will be applied if the annual fee is paid after January 31 of the calendar year.
B.
An additional fee will be charged for nonspayed or nonneutered dogs.
No applicant will receive a dog license or registration tag without showing a National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians Form No. 51 issued and signed by a licensed veterinarian, that names the date of inoculation, duration of immunity, name and serial number of the product used, description of the dog and full mailing address of the owner.
No applicant will receive a dog license or registration tag unless the duration of immunity listed on the State Public Health Veterinarians Form No. 51 that the applicant produces will not expire more than two months before the licensing period ends.
