The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Board is hereby created to help
the City of Buffalo find cooperative solutions for various problems
experienced by cyclists, pedestrians and persons with disabilities.
The Board shall consist of 15 members. There shall be 11 voting
members, appointed by the Buffalo Common Council and approved by the
Mayor. At least five members shall be active cyclists, and at least
four members shall be active pedestrians. One member shall be a member
of the Disability Advisory Council. One member shall be an employee
of the Department of Public Works. There shall also be four nonvoting
members appointed by the Buffalo Common Council and approved by the
Mayor and shall include one representative from each of the following
departments: the Buffalo Common Council, the Buffalo Police Department,
the Traffic Engineer and the Office of Strategic Planning.
