A code regulating air pollution is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of the State of New Jersey Air Pollution Control Act (1954), N.J.S.A. 26:2C-1 to 26:2C-23, and any amendments and supplements thereto.
Said code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as the "New Jersey Air Pollution Control Code."
Three copies of the New Jersey Air Pollution Control Code have been placed on file in the office of the Borough Clerk upon the introduction of this chapter and will remain on file there until final action is taken on this chapter for the use and examination by the public.
Any person or persons or corporation who shall violate or neglect to comply with any provision of this chapter or the code established herein or notice issued pursuant thereto shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, for each and every violation.
