All persons who are members of the Lodi Memorial Library and persons who are members of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (B.C.C.L.S.) are hereby governed by the provisions of this chapter when borrowing any materials from the Lodi Memorial Library or a member library of the B.C.C.L.S.
A. 
All persons must return all library materials to the Memorial Library according to the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees of the Lodi Memorial Library.
B. 
All persons must return all library materials to the member libraries of the B.C.C.L.S. according to the policies set forth by the B.C.C.L.S. and as adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Lodi Memorial Library.
No person shall produce false identification or use another person's card.
All persons and/or members are responsible to settle all fines and related costs for overdue or lost materials due to the Lodi Memorial Library or a B.C.C.L.S. member library.
The Lodi Memorial Library will notify any and all persons that the return of materials borrowed by said persons is overdue, and upon receipt by said persons of said overdue notice, said persons' card privileges will be suspended in the Lodi Memorial Library and all B.C.C.L.S. libraries until said materials have been returned and all fines and related costs paid.
No person may knowingly borrow any materials from the Lodi Memorial Library or B.C.C.L.S. libraries while he or she is in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
The Director or his assistant shall have the authority to prosecute any and all persons who violate the provisions of this chapter, but said prosecution cannot commence within 120 days of said violation.
Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days. Each day that such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.
