A. Council hereby approves the installation of benches by the Port Authority
within or adjacent to public rights-of-way at official Port Authority
transit stops in the Borough.
B. In consideration of the installation of such benches by the Port
Authority, at its sole cost, the Borough hereby accepts the responsibility
for the inspection, repair, maintenance and replacement of such benches
as may be required from time to time.
C. The proper officers of the Borough are hereby authorized and directed,
on behalf of the Borough, to perform all acts and do all other things
necessary and proper in connection with the bench project of the Port
Authority, including the execution of an agreement for transit stop
benches in substantially the form of the agreement attached to original
Resolution No. 509.
A. Council hereby approves the installation of transit passenger shelters
by the Port Authority in the Borough, subject to the approval of Council,
in each specific location with respect to location and design.
B. The proper officers of the Borough are hereby authorized and directed,
on behalf of the Borough, to perform all acts and do all things necessary
and proper in connection with the issuance of permits annually for
the installation and maintenance of such shelters by the Port Authority.
