The establishment of a Police Department in and for the Town
of Bloomsburg and the appointment of police officers by the Town Council,
subject to any applicable civil service provisions in the law, is
hereby approved.

The said Police Department shall be composed of a Chief of Police,
police officers, Sergeants, Lieutenants, and parking enforcement officers,
as have been or may be authorized by law and appointed by the Town
Council, from time to time, subject to applicable civil service provisions
in the law.
