The Bloomsburg identified floodplain area shall consist of the
following specific areas:
1. FW (Floodway Area). The FW (Floodway Area) shall be the areas identified
as "floodway" in the AE Zone by "The Flood Recovery Report: Tropical
Storm Lee - Wyoming Valley," dated June 2013, prepared by FEMA. The
term shall also include floodway areas which have been identified
in other available studies or sources of information for those floodplain
areas where no floodway has been identified in the Flood Insurance
Study. In this chapter, where not identified and no other data is
available, the floodway shall be all land located between the edge
of the top-of-bank and 50 feet landward of any watercourse, including

dated June 2013, prepared by FEMA for which base flood elevations
have been provided. The AE Area adjacent to the floodway shall be
those areas identified as an AE Zone on the FIRM included in the FIS
prepared by FEMA for which base flood elevations have been provided
and a floodway has been delineated.

The Bloomsburg identified floodplain area may be revised or
modified by Town Council where studies or information provided by
a qualified agency or person documents the need for such revision.
However, prior to any such change, approval must be obtained from
the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). New technical data
with changes must be submitted to FEMA as soon as practicable, but
no later than six months after the data, including flood-carrying
capacities for any altered, or relocated, watercourse becomes available.
