The cost of maintaining and securing the public docks within
the Township has greatly increased; and it is the considered opinion
of the Mayor and the Township Committee that the cost of maintaining
such public dock in a clean, healthy and safe manner should be borne
by those desiring to use the public dock.
The public dock presently located in the Township is declared
to be a paid public dock.
No person over the age of six years shall use the facilities
or privileges of the Township public dock without first having acquired
and then having in his or her possession a proper and effective badge
or license to use such public dock.
In order to provide the necessary funds to maintain and secure
and police the public dock, the following fees shall be charged for
the facility:
A. No fees shall be charged or collected from any child six years of
age or under.
B. No fee shall be charged to any individual having a valid recreation
badge issued by the Township.
C. For each person per day for any day or fractional part thereof during
the public dock season, the fee is $1.
For the purposes of this article, the public dock season shall
be defined as being from May 1 to October 31, inclusive.
