Pursuant to its power to regulate parking within the Municipality
of Norristown, this chapter is enacted to create a parking plan in
the Municipality to help alleviate parking shortages.
Parking on the streets of the Municipality of Norristown shall
be subject to the following restrictions:

The hourly parking restrictions hereinbefore described shall
not affect residents who have properly applied to the Administration
for a parking permit. The issuance of parking permits to residents
shall be within the discretion of the administration.
Parking on streets affected by this article shall be limited
to one legal time interval per block. At the expiration of such interval,
cars may not remain on the block in which it has been parked.
