Traffic control signals, flashing signals or flashing beacons shall be installed and operated at those locations described in Schedule I (§ 608-46), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the City is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 608-47) shall be as indicated in said schedule.

No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of that indicated in Schedule III (§ 608-48), in the areas described in said Schedule III, during school days between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
A. 
One-way traffic on one-way streets shall include such streets as may be set apart by the Common Council for the movement of traffic in one direction.
B. 
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (§ 608-49), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule V (§ 608-50), attached to and made a part of chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (§ 608-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VII (§ 608-52), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 608-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule IX (§ 608-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
A. 
No person shall drive a vehicle having spuds or cogs upon the wheels or a vehicle which, with or without a load, exceeds 15 tons in weight unless, in either case, a permit, in writing, is obtained from the Commissioner of Public Works, which permit must prescribe the precautions to be taken to prevent injuries to pavements and bridges, and such vehicle must not be driven upon or through any street or portion of a street other than those designated in said permit or in a manner different from that specified in such permits.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any commercial vehicle or other tractor, trailer or tractor-trailer combination, having a gross weight in excess of that herein respectively prescribed, upon any of the streets or portions thereof described in Schedule X (§ 608-55), except for the purpose of making local deliveries on that street.
C. 
Vehicle size restrictions.
(1) 
The parking of any vehicle with dimensions meeting or exceeding any of the following: eight feet in width, eight feet in height and/or 18 feet in length, is prohibited at all times on streets in R-1, R-2 and R-3 Districts.
(2) 
No vehicle described in Subsection C(1) shall be allowed to park on any other City street for more than two hours.
(3) 
"Parking" is defined as the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily, for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers.
(4) 
No vehicle described in Subsection C(1) herein shall be allowed to park on any other City-owned or City-maintained property unless authorized to do so by resolution of the Common Council.
(5) 
No vehicle described in Subsection C(1) shall be allowed to park on any sidewalk or between the sidewalk and curbline in any R-1, R-2 or R-3 District. If there is no sidewalk, no vehicle described in Subsection C(1) shall be allowed to park within eight feet of the curbline in R-1, R-2 and R-3 Districts.
(6) 
No tractor shall be idled for more than 15 minutes for warmup or arrival at a residence while parked in any residential neighborhood.

A. 
West Seventh Street at the intersection of Fulton Avenue shall be posted "do not enter" for southbound traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the regular school year.
B. 
No vehicles, with the exception of local delivery, emergency and maintenance vehicles, shall be allowed on the access road adjacent to the Canal Park and Marina.
C. 
Emery Street at Holly Drive for westbound traffic shall be posted "do not enter."
D. 
No person or persons, firm, association, corporation or copartnership shall operate any truck or trucks on South Seventh Street between Fay Street and Kiwanis Park for the purpose of removing snow from any industry or business, with the exception of City of Fulton vehicles.
E. 
William Gillard Drive at the southernmost entrance of the improved parking lot located at the north end of G. Ray Bodley High School, 210 feet south of the intersection with Chestnut Street, shall be posted "do not enter" for southbound traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the regular school year. An exemption would apply to vehicles authorized by the City of Fulton School District for the transportation of students.

A. 
The Common Council has the authority, by resolution, to designate restricted lane usage areas on the public streets in the City of Fulton.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to use a lane described in Schedule XI (§ 608-56), attached to and made a part of this chapter, for any purpose other than the purpose set forth in said Schedule XI.
The streets or parts of streets set forth in Schedule XII (§ 608-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated no-passing zones.[1]
