Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall,
for every such violation, be subject to a fine or penalty of not less
than $50 nor more than $1,000, and costs, and, upon default of payment,
imprisonment for not more than 30 days, provided that each day's continuance
of a violation shall constitute a separate violation.
