A.
An Office of Housing and Community Redevelopment in and for the City
of Yonkers is hereby established. The head of the office shall be
the Director of Housing and Community Redevelopment. The Director
shall have the qualifications and experience necessary to perform
the duties of his or her office, and shall be appointed and serve
at the pleasure of the Mayor.

B.
Under the general direction of the Mayor, the Director of Housing
and Community Redevelopment shall have the supervision and control
of the administration of the Affordable Housing Program in the City
of Yonkers. These powers shall include but not be limited to the implementation
of the Second Long Term Plan Order dated November 16, 1996 in the
case of the United States of America and the Yonkers Branch of the
NAACP v. The Yonkers Board of Education, et al.
