Children under the age of 16 years will not be permitted on the public streets or highways of the City of Port Republic between 9:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Eastern standard time or 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Eastern daylight saving time, whichever time is in effect in the City of Port Republic, unless accompanied by their parent, legal guardian or person having lawful custody of said children.

Any child under the age of 16 years found upon the public streets or highways of said City between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Eastern standard time or 10:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Eastern daylight saving time, whichever time is in effect in the City of Port Republic, will be taken into custody by an officer of the police organization supporting said City and held for action by the Juvenile Court of Atlantic County.

Any parent, legal guardian or person having lawful custody of any child who shall willfully permit said child to violate the terms of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
