than two of whom shall be of the same political party, to fix and
define the lines and boundaries of the wards.
The Commissioners shall, within 10 days after their appointment,
take and subscribe an oath that they will faithfully and impartially
perform the duties imposed upon them.
The Commissioners shall, within 60 days after their appointment,
make their report to the City Council of the City of Port Republic
and file the report with the City Clerk, and the report shall remain
a record of the City Clerk. The report shall be attested and certified
by the Commissioners under their hands and shall contain the following:
A. A proper description of the boundaries and dividing lines of the

population and the one-man, one-vote principle.
B. A statement of the population of each ward as nearly as can be ascertained.
C. A map showing the lines and extent and boundaries of the wards.
The acts of a majority of the Commissioners shall be deemed

majority of the Commissioners shall be considered the report of the
Commissioners. Should the Commissioners be unable to agree by majority
vote, the Mayor of the City of Port Republic shall have the deciding
vote.
Ten days after the making and the filing of the report with
the City Clerk, the lines and boundaries of the wards of the City
of Port Republic shall be as set forth in the report of the Commissioners,
and all other and former ward lines and boundaries shall thereupon
be abolished. The wards so designated by the Commissioners in the
report shall be and continue to be the wards of the City of Port Republic,
and thereafter all officers elected or appointed in the City of Port
Republic, for or representing the wards thereof, shall be appointed
for or elected from the wards as fixed by the report.
The necessary expenses of the Commissioners and the Compensation
for their services, if any, shall be made by the City Council of Port
Republic, by resolution, at the next regularly scheduled meeting of
