The installation, testing, and sterilizing of all water mains
and services to be connected to any public water system within the
Town of Poestenkill must be witnessed and approved by the Town Engineer,
the Water System Operator or the designated representative of either
of them, and, where required, by the Rensselaer County Health Department.
It should be noted that all service connections are subject to those
standards which are set forth in the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention
and Building Code, including the New York State Plumbing Code and
other New York State and Town of Poestenkill codes as applicable.
