Pursuant to the authority granted by § 21-803.1 of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the County may, by resolution, establish school zones, each consisting of all public roads within a half-mile radius of the named school and the maximum speed limits applicable within the school zone, and within the dates and times specified.[1]
