As provided for by the "Bingo Licensing Law"[1] and the "Raffles Licensing Law,"[2] eligible organizations may conduct games of chance known as "bingo" and "raffles" within the Borough. The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the Borough to issue licenses in accordance with statutory law.

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATION
An association of veterans of any war in which the United States has been engaged, a church or religious congregation, a religious organization, a charitable organization, an educational organization, a fraternal organization, a civic and service club, a senior citizen association, a senior citizen club, an officially recognized volunteer fire company, or an officially recognized volunteer first aid or rescue squad.
No eligible organization shall conduct bingo or a raffle without first having applied for and received a license.
The issuing authority for the Borough responsible for approving bingo and raffle licenses shall be the Borough Clerk.
The Borough Clerk shall approve or deny all applications for bingo or raffle licenses in accordance with statutory law.
A. 
All fees for bingo and raffle licenses payable upon application are prescribed by N.J.A.C. 13:47-4.9.
B. 
Fees for instant raffle game license applications made by eligible organizations are as follows:
(1) 
Daily license: $10.
(2) 
Yearly license: $375.
